If the output pressure is lower than the given value, the force on the diaphragm loses balance with the given spring force, and the diaphragm moves downward to open the ball valve for air pressure compensation. If the output pressure is higher than the given value, the diaphragm moves upward. At this time, the valve rod and diaphragm core leave, and the air pressure is discharged from the small hole to the atmosphere until a new balance is reached.
