1.Overview

EPC1110 EPC1170 EPC1190 Electro-pneumatic convertor (hereinafter referred to as the converter) is a new type of electrical conversion unit, which can convert different input current signals into corresponding output pneumatic signals. The converter has a pneumatic power amplifier inside, which can get the pneumatic signal with higher output power to various pneumatic actuators to improve the speed of the actuator. In addition to being the conversion unit between the electric instrument and the pneumatic control valve, it can also be used with the pneumatic valve positioner to achieve the function of the electric valve positioner.

3.the working principle

EPC1110 EPC1170 EPC1190 Electro-pneumatic convertor are a force balance instrument, suspending a coil in its internal magnetic field, when the current signal is sent to the coil, due to the action of the internal permanent magnet, the coil and the constant elastic element produce axial displacement, the axial displacement of the constant elastic element close to (or away from) the nozzle, causing the nozzle back pressure to increase (or decrease). This back pressure acts on the internal pneumatic power amplifier, opening (or closing) the intake valve to change the output pressure of the converter. Appropriate selection of air supply pressure can obtain different output power pneumatic signals proportional to the input current signal.

In a positive acting EPC electrical converter, the output signal increases in proportion to the increase in the input signal, and the reverse is the case.
