Maintain of VFR series eccentric rotary valve

If the diaphragm of the 35 type spring return deep barrel diaphragm actuator is damaged, it is generally unnecessary to remove the actuator, just replace the diaphragm. The replacement steps are as follows:

(1) Cut off the air supply, close the bypass pipe and discharge the pressure in the valve.

(2) Remove the air pipe and cylinder head from the actuator

(3) Remove the diaphragm (the diaphragm is bonded to the upper end of the disc) and remove the adhesive on the disc, cylinder head and cylinder block.

(4) Clean the new diaphragm, and apply a small amount of adhesive on the top of the disc, the sealing surface of the diaphragm and the cylinder block.

(5) Install the diaphragm into the cylinder as shown in the figure. After confirming that the diaphragm and cylinder are sealed, install the cylinder head and tighten the hexagon bolts.

(6) Install the air pipe, connect the air source and check for air leakage

(7) When the handwheel is installed, the valve can work normally again
