After the control valve works for a period of time, the leakage increases due to wear, scouring, corrosion and other reasons, so it needs to be grinded. The specific methods for grinding are as follows:
(1) Grinding of contact surface between valve seat and valve body
a. Clean the dust and dirt on the contact surface between valve body and valve seat
b. Apply a small amount of fine lapping agent on the contact surface of the valve seat, and put it into the valve body for grinding. During lapping, the valve seat should be rotated frequently to make the contact surface uniform and fine.
c. Take out the valve seat and clean it after grinding for several minutes
(2) Grinding of sealing surface between valve core and valve seat
a. Clamp the valve element gently on the bench clamp, and apply a small amount of fine abrasive on the spherical surface of the valve element
b. Grind the sealing surface of the valve seat (valve line) and the spherical surface of the valve core, and gently rotate the valve seat to make the valve core coincide with the sealing surface of the valve seat
Wipe off the valve core and valve seat for reassembly
