1. The valve stem is dull only when acting in one direction.

① The diaphragm in the pneumatic diaphragm actuator is damaged and leaked;

② The "O" seal in the actuator leaks.

2. The valve stem is dull during reciprocating action.

① The valve body is blocked by sticky substances;

② Teflon filler hardening or graphite asbestos filler lubricating oil drying;

③ If the filler is too tight, the friction resistance increases;

④ The friction resistance is large due to the non straightness of the valve stem;

⑤ Pneumatic control valve without positioner will also lead to slow action.
