Installation of electric control valve

Installation of electric control valve:

1. Follow the correct installation technology. Always follow the installation instructions and precautions of the control valve (regulating valve) manufacturer. Here is a brief summary of the typical installation instructions.

2. Read the operation manual. Before installing the valve, read the instruction manual first. The instruction manual introduces the product, safety precautions and preventive measures before and during installation. Following the instructions in the manual will help ensure easy and successful installation.

3. Confirm that the pipeline is clean. The foreign matters in the pipeline may damage the sealing surface of the valve or even hinder the movement of the valve core, ball or butterfly plate, resulting in the failure of the valve to close correctly. In order to reduce the possibility of dangerous situations, it is necessary to clean all pipelines before installing valves. Confirm that pipe dirt, metal debris, welding slag and other foreign matters have been removed. Also, check the pipe flange to ensure a smooth gasket surface. If the valve has threaded ends, apply high-grade pipe sealant to the male threads of the pipe. Do not apply sealant to the female thread, because excess sealant on the female thread will be squeezed into the valve body. Excess sealant will cause jamming of the valve core or accumulation of dirt, which will lead to the failure of the valve to close normally.

4. Check the control valve (regulating valve) although valve manufacturers will take some steps to prevent transportation damage, such damage can still occur and can be found and reported before installation. Do not install valves that are known to have been damaged during transportation and storage. Before installation, check and remove all transportation stops, protective plugs or covers on gasket surfaces, and check the inside of the valve body to ensure that Ensure that there are no foreign matters.

5. Adopt good pipe connection practice and most control valves (regulating valve) can be installed in any position, but the most common method is to place the actuator vertically and on the upper part of the valve. If it is necessary to install the actuator horizontally, consider adding an additional vertical support to the actuator. Ensure that the valve body is installed in such a way that the fluid flow direction is consistent with the direction indicated by the flow arrow or the instruction manua
