Common fault analysis of valve positioner

1.The valve positioner has an input signal but the regulating valve does not act. Most of the reasons are the failure of the electromagnet assembly or the wrong air supply pressure. It is recommended to replace the electromagnet assembly or check the air supply pressure.

2.The valve positioner has no output pressure. The reason is that the dust and impurities in the air are not filtered thoroughly, resulting in the blockage of the orifice, or the position of the nozzle baffle is incorrect, the relay is defective, etc. the treatment method is to dredge the orifice with 0.2mm steel wire, replace the relay, etc.

3.The output pressure is slow or abnormal. In daily production and operation, the continuous action of the regulating valve will cause the diaphragm head of the regulating valve to be damaged and air leakage, resulting in the failure of the regulating valve with input signal but slow action, so that the regulating valve cannot achieve the effect of timely regulation. The solution is to check the diaphragm chamber and replace the diaphragm.
